Library Programming: VALENTINE’S TRAVELING BAKE SALE: The Friends of the Library are busy planning the traveling bake sale. It will be on Thursday, February 14. More information to follow! STORYTIME: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. January’s themes: “Snowmen”, “Dragons & Knights” (dress up if you’d like!), “Hedgehogs/Hibernation” and “Warm as Toast”. “SAVING THE PAST: PRESERVING HISTORIC BLACK HILLS CEMETERIES” program by Vern Davis on Friday, February 15, at 7 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. “FATHER BELKNAP” program by Tim Velder on Friday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. “COWBOY CARNEGIES: WYOMING’S HISTORIC LIBRARIES” program and exhibit by the Alliance for Historic Wyoming on Friday, April 5, in the Library Meeting Room. ADULT CRAFT NIGHT: “Barn Quilt” on Monday, February 4, at 6 p.m. in the Courthouse Basement. We are teaming up with the Extension Office for this craft, and part of the fee for this class is going to help fund the 4-H Fridays and other youth programs. Class fee is $25 and there will be several different designs to choose from. Sign up is required by Friday, January 31. Space is limited, so sign up early! QUILTING AT THE LIBRARY: the 4th Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Not limited to quilting! Bring any UFO (UnFinished Object) to the library and work on it here. We have lots of space, outlets and camaraderie! Call the library for more information. LUNCH BUNCH BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP meeting February 28, at 11 a.m. at the library. CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION BOARD meeting Wednesday, April 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Moorcroft. SUNDANCE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY: Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 5, at 11 a.m. at the library.
