Thank You
Crook County Fire Zone 12 was honored to be named beneficiary of Gary Dungey’s memorial. We thank his family for the donation. Gary was a good neighbor.

Our Thanks
Blessings in a Backpack would like to thank our local community for their recent donations to our weekend food bag program. Jeff and Reneé Carrier, Neiman Sawmills, Sundance State Bank, Hulett Lions Club and PREC Foundation. PREC Foundation also donated money for a Thanksgiving food basket, for each of our Blessings families. We also want to thank Drew, Jennifer and Derek Heersman for their donation. Drew won the Chamber of Commerce duck derby money and donated it to our program. His parents matched that money.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our great program.
Our Thanks
One year ago this week our life was forever changed by Becky’s breast cancer diagnosis. As we reflect on how this has impacted our family, we realize that what most people would deem a devastating life event has provided us with more positive moments than we could have ever imagined. Friends and strangers from across Crook County, Wyoming, South Dakota and beyond showered our family with food, financial donations, words of encouragement and prayer. We are forever grateful to Kenda Huseby and the staff at CCMSD for their excellent medical care, Joni Spaulding and Bearlodge Bakery’s cupcake fundraiser, Sundance High School and Sundance Community Youth Group’s soup fundraiser, St. Onge Livestock’s rollover calf sale, Serendipity Flowers & Gifts and the Ride a Horse, Feed a Cowboy organization for selecting us as their 2018 charity recipient and every private individual who reached out to us personally or through one of these events to ease the financial burden of her cancer treatment. Life isn’t always easy but feeling the love of your friends and neighbors makes the fight worthwhile. We are humbled and thankful for your generosity.
