The Sundance boys’ basketball team took their show on the road the past weekend as they made their way to Casper for the 2A state tournament. This past Saturday ended the 2019-20 wrestling season for the Sundance Bulldogs at the State Meet in Casper. The grappling Bulldogs came away from the state meet with two place-winners. Junior Owen Haiar claimed 5th place at 126 lbs. with a record of 4-2 and Junior Josh Pridgeon took home 6th place at 182 lbs. with a 3-3 record over the weekend. Bulldog Boys The Sundance boys’ basketball team had a light week this past week, playing only one game on Friday, as they hosted the Eagles from Tongue River. The snow and wind held out until later in the day on Sunday, no doubt to the relief of the group of runners who braved the early morning chill to take part in Freeze Your Fanny. The Sundance boys hosted the Moorcroft Wolves in the first conference meeting of the season. Sundance jumped out to a quick start putting full court pressure on the Wolves and feeding off the energy it created. On this past Friday and Saturday, the injury-depleted Sundance Bulldog wrestling team competed in the 20-team Belle Fourche Invitational. The Sundance girls hosted a good Moorcroft team on Thursday night. The Wolves came into the match with a 2-0 record in the conference and a hot streak on the floor. The Wolves put the pressure on the Bulldogs from the beginning, opening up with a full court press that caused unforced turnovers and fouls on the Bulldogs behalf.
