A public meeting will be held to discuss proposed trap range improvements at the Bear Lodge Trap Club, which is the trap range part of the Sundance Rod and Gun Club. The kids of Sundance were treated to an introduction to the game of golf by a professional last week through a four-day program hosted by John Jambor, retired PGA professional golfer. The purpose of the PE unit was for the kids to learn the skills of the game of golf. The Colorado PGA provided the instruction, equipment and transportation costs. The Patriot football team hosted the homecoming game in Upton Friday night as they took on the Torrington Trailblazers. An exciting opening drive moved the Patriots down the field with big yardage gains, putting them in scoring territory after only a few minutes. The Sundance golfers finished their fall season this past weekend competing in the 2A state golf championship at the Thermopolis Golf Club. Sheridan Schubarth was the top placer for the Bulldogs finishing the season second in state with a score of 194, just behind Brooklyn Materi of Upton who took the top honors. The Upton-Sundance Patriots faced off against the Newcastle Dogies in the first home game of the season. A stiff defense helped the Patriots walk away with a 28-6 victory.
