The Sundance Bulldog wrestling team had a busy week this past week as they competed in the Newell Scramble on Tuesday and Hill City Invitational on Saturday. The shorthanded Bulldog team competed this past Tuesday with only five healthy wrestlers but returned with an overall 8-4 record. The Sundance wrestlers hosted the Sundance Quad last week. Going up against wrestlers from Campbell County, Thunder Basin, Belle Fourche and Hulett, the Bulldog grapplers fared well. Leading the way for the Bulldogs were Jayden Keller with a second-place finish at 126 lbs and Karter Mayberry with a third-place finish also at 126 lbs. The 2022 volleyball season came to a close for the Sundance Lady Bulldogs at the Regional Tournament this past weekend in Burns. Coming in as the number three seed from the north, the Lady Bulldogs opened tournament play against the number two seed from the south, Lingle Fort Laramie. The Sundance Bulldogs ended their cross country season with a sixth-place finish at the 2A State Cross Country Championships in Ethete on Oct. 22.
