As in years past, parents and the community have teamed up to provide the students with a place to gather once prom comes to an end, keeping them safe while offering entertainment and snacks.     The county commissioners invite seniors of Crook County’s schools to apply for their annual scholarship program. Due April 20, applications are open to anyone who is either enrolled in a Wyoming college or set to enroll this year. The Crook County Commissioners Scholarship is awarded on the basis of need, academic standing and leadership qualities.   • Crook County Extension Learning Lab applications available

    The Crook County Extension Learning lab is now accepting applications for 2019. The program is designed to give youth that live in town or simply don’t have facilities the opportunity to participate in market animal projects through 4-H or FFA. Swine, sheep and goat projects will be housed at the Crook County Fairgrounds in Sundance from May 1 through Crook County Fair. Participants will purchase their own animals, feed and bedding.     U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging Wyoming high school students to apply to be a Senate page in Washington, D.C.     Governor Mark Gordon today encouraged young women in Wyoming high schools to take advantage of an opportunity to explore their aptitude for cybersecurity and computer science by trying to solve the challenges of the 2019 Girls Go CyberStart program.
