Harper Memorial Scholarships worth a total of $110,000 have been awarded to 25 seniors and alumni of Sundance High School this year. The scholarships are awarded through the Orville D. Harper and Wanda J. Harper Revocable Trusts and are intended for graduates of the school to assist them as they attend any in-state university or college. The Heart of Gold Livestock Show was the event of the day with more than 90 kids participating from Crook County School District. Students interacted with cows, sheep, swine, goats, horses, dogs, a chicken and a rabbit with the help of our 4-H and FFA partners. Strata Energy, Inc. has issued its annual invitation to Crook County high school graduates to apply for Strata’s Community Energy and Opportunity scholarships. Strata scholarships are available to students graduating from a Crook County high school or Crook County accredited home-school program.
