    Black Hills State University has released the Dean’s List for the fall 2019 semester. A total of 722 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours.     U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging Wyoming high school students to apply to be a Senate page for the summer sessions in Washington, D.C. Enzi said he is fortunate to have the opportunity to sponsor a young adult from Wyoming to serve in each of the two summer sessions.     At the recommendation of Superintendent Mark Broderson, the Crook County School District Board of Trustees has chosen to delay adoption of a new technology policy due to concerns that its wording is too vague. At Monday’s meeting, the board heard that members of staff are concerned it would allow searches of personal cell phones. Students are: Taylor Olivia Kennah of Hulett and Olivia Farris Croft and Shelby A. Heaster of Sundance.     On behalf of Sundance FCCLA, Kate Sell would like to invite community members to donate diapers, wipes and baby clothing that will be given to the Bella Pregnancy Resource Center in Spearfish. There will be a drop off box at Vilas Pharmacy from February 12-26.     A small rural school of 160 students, K through 12, in Hulett was the recipient of a new program thanks to the local Crook County Cattlewomen. The program has now been expanded to include the Moorcroft and Sundance schools. Instead of the highly processed soy-based meat traditionally served for the lunch programs, students and staff at all schools now enjoy locally grown pure beef.     Sundance FCCLA is collecting materials for Birthday Party Packs. These will be donated to the food bank for family use. Each party pack will contain a cake mix, frosting, foil pan, candles and decorative plates.
