Kindergarten registration paperwork for Sundance Elementary School is now available at the school office at 1123 Fairgrounds Loop Rd in Sundance. Registration packets were sent to all Sundance preschools as well. Completed paperwork needs to be dropped off at the school office by Feb. 24. Black Hills State University released the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester. A total of 684 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. State statistics released last week reveal that Crook County School District (CCSD) continued to maintain its record of higher-than-average graduation rates during the 2020-21 school year. Wyoming State Forestry Division and Wyoming Project Learning Tree (WY PLT) are teaming up again this year to hold the annual Wyoming State Arbor Day poster contest. This year, Wyoming will celebrate its 134th Arbor Day. The contest is open to all Wyoming fourth and fifth grade students, including home-schooled, private and public.
