SHS Senior Nate Schommer was named the Brenda Maynard Walters Memorial Standing Tall award winner for 2022. The award, named in memory of Walters, is given by former classmates and family members to a member of the senior class who embodies the spirit Brenda was known for during her life. As the 2021-2022 school year came to a close, the Sundance Elementary students participated in their annual field day at Croell Field. Crook County first graders from Hulett, Moorcroft and Sundance made their annual trek, after a two-year break, to Devils Tower National Monument for the 17th annual Wyoming Reads celebration in Crook County. May 23 marked the HiSET graduation of nine area residents. Each student successfully completed the course of study and high school equivalency tests (reading, writing, math, science and social studies) as set forth by the State of Wyoming. The Harper Memorial Scholarship committee is pleased to announce the 2022-2023 scholarship recipients. The Orville D. Harper Revocable Trust and the Wanda J. The members of the Sundance FFA Chapter went to the Wyoming State FFA Convention held in Cheyenne, Wyoming, during the days of April 5-9.
