In last week’s issue, in the article headlined “Landowner group forms for oil pipeline”, the project in question is not the Liberty Pipeline that is a joint venture by Bridger Pipelines and Phillips 66. Though the Liberty Line was mentioned several times in the meeting, the specific pipeline for which the landowner group is aiming to secure easements in Crook County is the Bridger Pipelines oil pipeline, which will match the route of the existing Butte Pipeline....

One of the two landowners mentioned in last week’s issue regarding “nuisance” properties in Sundance would like to clarify and correct a statement made in that article. The landowner, who was mentioned in association with a storage container that has been deemed a nuisance, states that she did not fail to respond to the letter and has in fact spoken with city staff “multiple times” while endeavoring to meet their wishes....

The Carlile Fire Hall is hosting its 13th annual open house/potluck dinner on Saturday, September 21, at 6 p.m. and everyone’s invited. Thank You Monday Aug 12, was the state mandated 6 hour training for all route, activity and sub drivers for Crook County Schools. Forty-five drivers attended, refreshing them on district and state policies, along with additional training from Campbell County trainers.
