Marion Elizabeth Humpert, of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away on December 16, 2024 at Crook County Hospital in Sundance. Marion was born on January 18, 1939 in Amarillo Texas. She moved at a very young age to Derby, Colorado, where she grew up the eldest of five children. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has announced four upcoming opportunities to give in-person feedback on its draft resource management plan for the Newcastle Field Office and Nebraska. If ultimately approved, the new resource management plan would replace the current, 23-year-old version now used by the Newcastle Field Office.
