The Bulldog Wrestling team began its season by competing in two tournaments over the past 10 days. The grapplers kicked off the season last week by competing at the Lusk Invitational. Competing for the Sundance team were Lyman Halverson 2-1 on the day at 120lbs, Karter Mayberry 1-2 at 126lbs, Elijah Cortez 0-2 at 138lbs, Cole Van Horn 0-1 at 150lbs and Wyatt Flahaven 2-1 at 157lbs. SHS Girls The Lady Bulldogs crossed state lines last weekend to participate in the Stateline Shootout with Belle Fourche, Lead-Deadwood and Newcastle. In this competition, the four teams played a round-robin matchup. The Lady Bulldogs opened the Shootout with a 43-31 victory over the Newcastle Dogies on Thursday evening.
