The Upton-Sundance Patriots were under the lights at Croell Field Friday night as the Tongue River Eagles soared into town. The #1 ranked Sundance Bulldogs took to the road this past week, playing three games and adding three more wins to their record. Opening play on Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs were up against #2 ranked Moorcroft Lady Wolves. It was a complete team effort as the Lady Bulldogs spread the wealth at the net with five players recording kills. The Sundance Bulldog Cross Country team competed in the Brittany Rentas Cross Country meet in Wright on Saturday, Oct. 3. The meet brought with it new competition for Bulldog athletes. Senior Hunter Skeens placed second in the boys’ varsity race in a time of 17:53:30. “It was a great race and I’m glad I got to see where I stood with some other runners I haven’t seen since the beginning of the season,” Skeens said. The Sundance seventh graders are starting the annual Watkins fundraiser. The fundraiser will run from Oct. 1 through Oct. 19. Products should be delivered by Nov. 25 unless a backorder occurs. This has been a valuable money-maker for this class for two decades. Watkins has been in business for 150 years. The product line includes spices, extracts, seasonings, sauces, soup bases, liniments, lotions, health supplements and cleaning solutions.
