A Casper man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver during routine traffic control for the Hulett Rodeo parade. The Wyoming Supreme Court has remanded a driving under the influence conviction against Nancy Hawken back to the Sixth Judicial District Court after she successfully argued on appeal that the Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper who arrested her did not have consent to enter her home. Backyard poultry is believed to be the cause of an outbreak of salmonella that has spread to 38 states, including Wyoming. The outbreak has so far caused around 219 illnesses, 27 hospitalizations and one death. At least four infections have been recorded in this state. Marilyn Knapp of Hulett and Carole Maddox of Sundance received awards at the Annual Wyoming Public Transit Association, Inc. Conference in Sheridan, Wyoming. A missing person was successfully found and rescued after two members of the public spotted their ATV upturned in a ravine beside Old Sundance Road. On June 9, a Crook County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a report of a person missing from their Sundance home.
