The Hofland sisters set out at the start of the season pushing each other to do better in each of their throwing events. The Sundance FFA Chapter held the annual awards banquet April 30. They had an amazing turnout from the very supportive members of the community. During the banquet, awards were given to the chapter members, and the founding members of the alumni chapter were also recognized for all of their hard work. The Sundance Rod and Gun Club hosted their annual kids’ fishing derby last Saturday with an amazing turnout of 57 kids. The club provided hot dogs, sodas and prizes for each participant. McKinlee Kylander had the longest trout at 11” and Jackson Phillips and Teddy Blakeman tied for second at 10¾”.
