Due to the extreme wet conditions on the Forest, a closure order has been signed prohibiting any type of motorized use on motorized trails. Additionally, seasonally closed gates, which were set to open on May 15, will remain closed until conditions allow them to open. The restricted area covers the entire Black Hills National Forest Motorized Trail System in both Wyoming and South Dakota. In conjunction with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s “Free Fishing Day”, on June 1, daily use fees are waived at all parks/recreation areas that provide angling. Wyo. Sundance Elementary Band students will have their spring concert on Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m. Songs for fifth grade band will include Frere Jacques, March Winds, Bermuda Triangle, March of the Midgets, Old MacDonald Had a Band and Hard Rock Blues. The Sundance track and field team travelled to Sheridan this past weekend to partake in the 2A East Regional meet.
