    A hundred years from now, the forest south of Sundance may look just the way it used to. The Fish Fire burned through just under 6800 acres back in 2022, leaving blackened scars in its wake.     Artists from Sundance High School made their mark at the 56th annual Wyoming High School State Art Symposium last weekend, showing off their work at the largest statewide art exhibition in the nation. Over 4700 pieces were on display in Casper, from 67 schools across Wyoming.   • Keyhole State Park partners with Audubon Rockies for summer events

    Keyhole State Park is partnering with Audubon Rockies again this summer to provide a series of birding events at the park from May through August. The first event will be a "Birding Walk" on May 4, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Rocky Point Trailhead. This will provide an opportunity to observe, identify and learn about the various bird species at the park. Some binoculars and birding guides will be provided, but please bring your own if possible.     The Heart of Gold Livestock Show was the event of the day with more than 90 kids participating from Crook County School District. Students interacted with cows, sheep, swine, goats, horses, dogs, a chicken and a rabbit with the help of our 4-H and FFA partners. The dam was severely damaged about a week ago and with the flood waters this week the damage was considerably more than previously.     Six fatal crashes so far in Campbell County this year GILLETTE (WNE) --- So far in 2024, 21 people have died in 18 fatal crashes in Wyoming. A third of those crashes, which resulted in six deaths, happened in Campbell County. In 2023, there were 11 fatal crashes in Campbell County. In 2022, there were seven. 2021 had four fatal crashes, and 2020 had eight.
