    Sundance High School senior Nate Schommer was featured as part of KEVN Black Hills FOX's Rising Star of the West scholarship contest Tues., Feb. 15 on The SIX and on Black Hills FOX News. Schommer qualified for the contest by submitting a short video of himself to KEVN Black Hills FOX. Schommer is one of the semi-finalists who will be seen through March 11.     1 Years Ago Feb. 16, 1922 A jolly skating party spent the evening at Medicine Lake Monday, followed by a midnight feed at Zane’s hotel. A Wyoming Chinook threatened to spoil sleighing here Thursday, but after a few hours of warmth the strange wind left for parts unknown, since then the weather has been anything from pleasant to a few degrees below decency.
