    The Upton-Sundance Patriots took their winning form on the road this past week as they defeated the Southeast Cyclones by a score of 27-0. The Patriots didn’t break stride as they opened up the first half, putting points on the scoreboard first.     The Sundance cross country runners were in Wright this past week, where each race saw two Bulldogs placing in the top 20. Tori Wheeler and Darcy Flahaven were in the top 20 for the girls’ varsity race, finishing fourth and 17th respectively.     Homecoming week in Sundance pitted the #3 US Patriots against the Wright Panthers on a blustery Friday night. In the junior high division, Rylie Marchant was the first to cross the finishing line and hot on her tail was Brit Wheeler, with only two-tenths of a second separating the two.     Sundance volleyball won their season opener on Tuesday night against Upton. The first game was a back and forth of points between the Bulldogs and Bobcats. With the score tied at 10, the Bulldogs started to pull away one point at a time. Sundance was up 21-16 when the Bobcats called a timeout to slow the scoring and try to regroup.     The Upton-Sundance Patriots travelled to Deadwood to face off against the Diggers for zero week. Neither the Diggers nor two rain delays would stop the Patriots from taking home a 44-8 victory.     The Lady Bulldogs took to the court on Friday at the Lingle Tournament. Facing off against five different teams, the Lady Bulldogs were able to come out on top of each match. The Bulldog boys had four different athletes place in the top three for the day.
