Symonds retirement open house next week

Peggy Symonds will be retiring as Crook County 4-H Program Associate October 31. Peggy came to this position in June of 2001 with 35 years experience as a 4-H leader and as an alumni in Crook County 4-H. Tom and Peggy have three kids who all completed nine years in the South Dakota 4-H program and two kids who were nine-year members in the Crook County 4-H program.
An open house for Peggy will be held in the basement of the Crook County Courthouse Friday, October 28 from 3-6:30 p.m.
Symonds plans to stay on as a 4-H leader in Crook County and hopefully will stay involved in several of the project areas.
She has many fond 4-H memories, both old and new, but is looking forward to building memories with her kids and grandkids. She also plans to spend some time at the fishing hole and to write a book.
