Sharon Elaine Norris

Sharon Elaine Norris was born on May 17, 1951, in Deadwood, South Dakota. The daughter of Robert and Edith Blakeman, she left this life Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at her home in Moorcroft, Wyoming, after suffering from a brain tumor.
Sharon was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and the faith she received carried her through death. Sharon’s childhood and school age years were spent in Moorcroft where she was united in marriage to Monty Norris on February 1, 1969. She continued her matrimonial life in Moorcroft as a caretaker of her home and family until her death.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Monty; her parents, Robert and Edith; two brothers, Dan (Dawn) Blakeman and Larry Blakeman; one sister, Laurie Anderson; two sons and six daughters, Michele (Jeff) Swaney, Stephanie (Dan) Swaney, Cassandra (Nathan) Kysar, Natalie (Kurt) Kaski, Kyle (Jaclyn) Norris, Cheryl (Sean) Wendling, Melisa (Darren) Oja and Kirk (Donelle) Norris. Sharon will also be dearly missed by 58 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Natasha Lynn, her Grandparents, and several Aunts and Uncles.
A funeral service was held Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Moorcroft. Burial was at the Moorcroft Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel of Sundance, WY.
