Powder River Energy and Basin Electric donate appliances to Food Pantry

Powder River Energy Corporation and Basin Electric teamed up to co-sponsor the purchase cost of a new refrigerator and freezer for the Crook County Food Pantry run by the Crook County Council of County Services. The Council had recently relocated the Food Pantry and could store more food, but the old appliances were leaking and in need of replacement. On July 19, Basin Electric employees Tyler Lindholm and Martin Haag picked up the new appliances in Gillette and delivered them to the Food Pantry in Sundance.

The donation of these new appliances is greatly appreciated by the Council and will allow the Food Pantry to keep larger quantities of perishables to enhance services to the residents of Crook County.
