Phyllis Louise Cordingly, 71, of Thermopolis, Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord and her family on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
Born November 23, 1941, in a home by the railroad tracks in Upton, Wyoming, she was the youngest of nine children raised on the family ranch outside Upton.
Preceding her in death was her father, Vernie Cordingly; mother, Florence (Adkins); son, Darrell; brothers, Kenneth, Virgil, and Howard; sisters, Lorraine, Vivian and Georgie.
She is survived by her son, Dale Clark of Boulder, CO; brothers, Stan Cordingly, Thermopolis; sister, Fern Blakeman, Sundance; her many nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were May 25 at the Risen Son Southern Baptist Church in Thermopolis with Pastor David Thornton and granddaughter, Reverend Miranda Nelson officiating. Graveside services were in the Greenwood Cemetery in Upton on May 26, 2013.
