Hospital awarded CT scanner grant

Crook County Medical Services District was last week announced as one of the 37 recipients of a grant from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. The trust is awarding almost $14 million over the next six months to support the purchase of new CT scanners for critical access hospitals across the region, including Sundance Hospital.

Field reps to hold office hours next week

DeAnna Kay, Denise Ebzery and Matt Jones, Field Representatives for U.S. Senators Michael Enzi and John Barrasso and Congressman Cynthia Lummis are scheduled to hold “Office Hours” in Sundance and Pine Haven on Tuesday, November 3 at the following times: • Sundance – 10 to 11 a.m., Sundance Town Hall, 213 E. Main Street • Pine Haven – 3 to 3:30 p.m., Pine Haven Town Hall, 24 Waters Street.
