Nancy Redinger, 69, of Deadwood, South Dakota, passed away on May 16, 2012, at her home.
Nancy was born February 19, 1943, to Ferris and Pearl (Knight) Redenbaugh at Pringle, South Dakota. She was proud of her accomplishments in life, which began at a young age as Little Miss Custer County. She was known as a hard worker in everything she did, beginning with her first job at “Piggly Wiggly” in Lead, South Dakota. She also was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandsons. She loved spending time with her family and cooking big meals for family get-togethers. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed working around her home.
Funeral services were Monday, May 21, 2012, at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Haefs (Jimmers) of Lead; two sons, Jim Haefs (Carmen) and Frank Haefs (Michelle) both of Rapid City, South Dakota; brothers, Cab Redenbaugh of Sundance, Wyoming, Tom Redenbaugh of Sheridan, Wyoming; sister, Suze Farley of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John; brothers, Jake and Fuzz and sister, Jeanie.
Arrangements are under the care of Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
