Loren Bruce Ryan

Loren Bruce Ryan of Beulah, Wyoming, was born July 19, 1945, in Quincy, Illinois, to Ruth (Walton) and Loren Ryan. Bruce passed away on August 17, 2012, while hunting caribou is Alaska. Bruce grew up in Yuma, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson. In 1966 he married Sally Thomas. To this union two sons were born. In 1985 he married Gayle Sager Mathews at Sundance, Wyoming. Bruce lived his life as an educator, beekeeper, and avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Gayle of Beulah; brother, Bill Ryan of Redding, California; sons Michael Ryan of Redding and Patrick Ryan of Sacramento, California; stepsons, Chad (Sabrina) Mathews of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Craig (Raenel) Mathews of Payson, Arizona; ten grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Episcopal Roofing Fund. Services are Sunday August 26 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal.
