Lois was born May 23, 1927 in Aladdin, Wyoming to Earl and Beatrice Chittim Willson. Lois was predeceased by her brother Bill Willson and is survived by her sister, Neil Agar of Hulett.
Lois attended grade and high school in Hulett. She married John M. Waugh on April 1, 1946 in Broadus, Montana. Lois enjoyed sewing for her family, hunting for Indian artifacts, and reading. After raising her family, Lois worked at a shoe store for many years, cooked at hospitals, and cared for the elderly. Preceding their deaths, Lois gave in home care to her mother-in-law, her own mother, her husband, and her father.
When her youngest grandchild, Rosalee, was ten months old, Lois took her to love, cherish, and bring back to good health, raising her as her own. Lois was the hub of her family, and will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren, as well as by her sister and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Hulett, Wyoming, with Rev. Jim Palus officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place in the Alva Cemetery, in Alva, Wyoming. Honorary Pallbearers are: Matthew Symonds, Monty Waugh, Jake Huber, Mike Huber, Keturah (Huber)Kinsman, and Mitchell Waugh.

Lois is survived by her children, John Waugh of Portland, Oregon, Lee Roy (Loretta) Waugh of Yucaipa, California, Sandra Huber of Sitka, Alaska, Duane (Karen) of Lead, South Dakota; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and her sister, Neil Agar of Hulett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John in 1983; son, Steve Waugh; granddaughter, Rosalee Waugh; brother, Bill Willson; great granddaughter, Jessica.
