Jeffrey Curr of Sundance was killed in an automobile accident in the early hours of the morning on August 24. The exact time of the crash is unknown because it was not discovered until some time later, but is thought to have been approximately 1 a.m.
Curr, aged 20, was two miles outside Hulett traveling south on WYO 24 when the accident occurred, says Sargent John Townsend of Wyoming Highway Patrol. The vehicle drifted to the right side of the road and he is believed to have overcorrected, slid across both lanes of traffic and traveled down a steep embankment on the east side of the highway, where the vehicle rolled several times.
Curr was not wearing a seatbelt and was completely ejected from the vehicle, a 1999 Audi, during the rollover. Further details were not yet available at time of going to press, although excessive speed is being investigated as a possible contributing factor.
