Lincoln Day Dinner draws big names

Organizers for this year’s annual Crook County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner knew they were fortunate to have Liz Cheney on hand to speak at their annual event but they got even more it turned out that Liz’s father, former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, also made the trip.
Speaking at the event, held at the community center, the elder Cheney spoke briefly about his life as a retired politician but left the main speaking duties daughter Liz who shared her thoughts on the future of the party and national politics.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, the local party elected Tyler Lindholm as the new chairman, Dave Holland as vice chairman, Wade Dennis as the new state committeeman, and Suzette Livingston was re-elected as state committeewoman.
