Girls third in conference

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs won vs. Moorcroft last Tuesday and lost to Big Horn on Saturday in matches at home.

Against Moorcroft, Sabrina Whalen had 15 kills, 7 digs and 6 blocks and Allison Kerkvliet had 19/21 serves, 4 aces, 16 points and 5 digs. Robin Moore brought 8 kills, 4 digs and 1 block while Brooke Ingalls served 15/16 with 2 aces, 11 points, 3 digs and 2 blocks. Krista Drentlaw came in with 31 assists, 8 points and 4 blocks and Kara Mouat contributed 7 kills.

Mouat served 13/13 against Big Horn with 2 kills, 2 aces and 6 points while Drentlaw had 23 assists and 2 blocks. Ingalls also had 2 blocks and Moore brought 8 kills, 11 digs and 3 blocks. Kerkvliet showed up with 4 kills, 10 digs and 1 block while Whalen served 15/18 with 11 kills, 4 aces, 9 points, 8 digs and 3 blocks.

This brings the girls to a 17-12 overall and 4-4 conference record, placing them in third for the conference. The girls will face off at 10 a.m. against Southeast at Regionals this Friday.
