Gary Dungey

KM_C554e-20180710104447Gary W. Dungey, 73, of Aladdin, Wyoming, passed away July 1, 2018, at his ranch.
He was born July 25, 1944, to Kay Dungey and Irma (Elpel) Dungey. He attended school in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and Sundance, Wyoming, graduating from Sundance High School in 1962. Following graduation, he attended mechanic school in Denver, Colorado, after which he moved back to the ranch on Sourdough with his grandparents.
In 1967, Gary married Ginger Massie and to this union two children, Wade and Corey, were born. He ranched most of his life and also worked at the Belle Fourche Sale Barn for a number of years.
His passions were rodeos and being a pickup man for the Belle Fourche High School Rodeo Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to the mountains with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kay and Irma; an infant son, Jed; and a son, Corey Dungey.
He is survived by his son, Wade Dungey of Aladdin; grandchildren, Tori Dungey, Laney Dungey and Jordin Dungey; a sister, Sherry (Richard) Kirksey of Aladdin.
