Crook County CattleWomen – Feb. 22

Crook County Cattlewomen had a working meeting 10-22-16 at 9:30 A.M. Sundance State Bank meeting room. Denise Wagner ,Hanna Ista, Linda Larsen, and Roxie Dacar brought material to make small useful inexpensive gift packets tastefully wrapped using our new  Crook County Brand Luncheon Napkins(25 CT) wrapped in Red Bandanas in cellophane wrap tied with raffia ribbon  $5.00, Crook County Brand Luncheon napkins( 60 CT) and pamphlet “ Confident cooking with Beef”  packaged- $10.00, Cocktail Crook County brand napkins tied with tulle ribbon- $5.00, Crook County Brand note cards with Devils ‘Tower featured design 10 to package and envelopes tied with country ribbon and new CCCW pen $5.00. These can be purchased from Cattlewomen members in Crook County or Country Cottage in Sundance. Hopefully we will be able to find businesses in Hulett or Moorcroft Wyoming that would be willing to sell them.

Roast Beef sandwich Luncheon served by Hostess Jeanette Smith featuring coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon slices, and chocolate brownies. Table featured Easter ceramic bunnies, and fresh flowers.

Discussion:  Crook County Cattlewomen dues $5.00 to Margret Ellsbury, Associate members will be receiving a Membership flyer designed by Criss Crozier asking for support of Crook County Cattlewomen with $15.00 dues and for their participation removable Beef Window Clings designed by Denise Wagner (“Beef-Tasty and Healthy, Crook County Cattlewomen Sponsored by This Business”) to be displayed in their business windows or vehicles. Minnie Williams and Criss Crozier looking for a displaced Crook County Cattlewoman sign made by the FFA Students so be put back up near Highway in Moorcroft area. Where to display our gift packages to be sold. Donation to be used for beef for Post-Prom parties held High School if asked for. It could be used for beef in Sloppy Jo’s, Pizza, or Walk- around Tacos. Mother and Father’s Day Promotion for a Crook County baby born closest to the Holiday’s Date given a roast beef in the baby’s weight. Suggested idea that we have booth at county’s Farmers Markets to expose people to the AG Business by using National American Cattlewomen Education Lessons Plans “Building Blocks”. Suggestion to be thinking of a Mission for our Crook County Cattlewomen organization to put our energy towards.
