County burn ban in place

Due to the dry conditions both currently and predicted in the long-range forecast, and the fact that there have been at least two small fires caused by burn barrels in the county, Crook County Interim Fire Warden Jeff Garman and the Board of County Commissioners have enacted an open burning restriction and ban on the use of fireworks effective March 11, 2016 and ending no later than October 15, 2016. This ban can be temporarily lifted or imposed by the Interim County Fire Warden if need be. Full details of the resolution can be found on the county website at crookcounty.wy.gov.
