Max Maxfield, Secretary of State, has released the 2012 Wyoming Campaign Guide. The online guide is updated each election year as a resource for candidates, their supporters, and others involved in political campaigns. It is also widely used by political action committees, political parties, and the media.
Among other tools, the guide contains a checklist of required reports for candidates and elected officials; tables describing contribution limits; campaign finance disclosure requirements; and highlights of the Wyoming Campaign Practices law.
“The Campaign Guide is a useful tool for all candidates, regardless of whether they plan to run for state senate, county commission, or local school board,” Maxfield said.
The Secretary urges all potential candidates to study the legal requirements governing their campaign activities.
