Cal (Calvin) Dean Wilson of Cody, Wyoming, age 49, passed away from complications during surgery on December 31, 2012. Cal was born February 13, 1963, in Sundance, Wyoming, to Richard and Sandra Wilson. Cal met his wife Cindy Scott in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and married on August 15, 1987. Cal was an employee of the Wyoming Department of Transportation for 32 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsmen.
Cal is survived by Cindy, his loving wife of 25 years; son, Brad Wilson (Elisabeth Hoffman) and granddaughter Cloie of Spearfish, South Dakota; daughter Carrie Wilson (Kasey Holder) of Cody; parents, Dick (Bev) Wilson of Sundance and Sandy Dickinson of Spearfish; sister, Debbie (Tom) Davis of Sundance; niece, Lisa Davis of Sundance; and mother-in-law, Karen Scott of Ranchester, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his niece, Amy Davis; and his father-in-law, Darwin Scott.
In lieu of flowers, a special account has been set up at Pinnacle Bank, P.O. Box 218 Cody, WY 82414, in C/O Cindy Wilson. Cremation has taken place and Cal has wished for no service. Arrangements are under direction of Ballard Funeral Home.
