May 14, Buttons and Bows held their annual Mothers luncheon at the New Haven Community Center.
Attending were 11 members, 13 guests and 6 children. The Center was decorated by Justine Reid and Barb Goodvin with beautiful parasols and each table’s center piece was a colorful petunia. Joan Busenitz gave the Blessing before a delicious pot lunch was served.
Rules of Victorian Etiquette was read by Betty West, Cori Busenitz and JoAnn Bohmont. The game, “Name That Tune” was played. Joan Busenitz gave the story behind and played the hymn “There’s a Song in My Heart”.
Tiny Bush was winner of the Hostess gift, a beautiful pot of petunias. Names were drawn for the table center pieces.
It was decided that clean-up day for the New Haven Cemetery would be May 23 at 2 p.m.
