Bill Tanner was born in Newcastle, Wyoming, September 20, 1946. The son of Floyd and Fern Tanner. In his younger days he worked at a lot of jobs, but his favorite years were ranching in Aladdin, Wyoming, with his brother-in-law Gerald and sister Patsy both of Aladdin.
He always wanted to go home. He moved to Redding, California in 1997 and worked for Blaggs as a Food Unit Supervisor until 2004 when as accident caused him to retire.
He is survived by his sister Patsy Bunney of Aladdin Wyoming, brothers Donald and Spike Tanner of Redding, California, son Randy, grandsons Tyler and Colton of Weed, California, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
