Athletes support prostate cancer awareness

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. In support, Sundance High School football players are wearing a prostate cancer ribbon on their helmets. Help us “Tackle Prostate Cancer” this season by consulting your doctor about prostate cancer screening guidelines including PSAs and DREs. Enjoy the football season and don’t forget to get screened!

In the United States, every three minutes a man finds out he has prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer diagnosed in Wyoming. Prostate cancer is a leading cause of cancer death in men in Wyoming. Getting screened early can significantly increase the chance of survival from prostate cancer.
