Arnold Nagel

Arnold Nagel, 69, Sundance, Wyoming, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Ft. Meade VA Medical Center.

Arnie was born September 17, 1943, in Little Falls, Minnesota, the son of Arnold and LeWine (Zimmerman) Nagel, Sr. He was raised and educated in Little Falls and graduating in 1961. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years during the Cuban Missile Crisis at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He moved to Wyoming in 1973, where he was employed with Kerr-McGee and later with Pacific Power & Light.

Arnie was united in marriage with Linda Peery on December 24, 1986, in Gillette, Wyoming.

Arnold is survived by his wife Linda of Sundance; two daughters, Jennifer Nagel (Richard Pasich) of Sedona, Arizona, and Andrea (Gerald) Garvick of New London, Minnesota; step-son Craig (Darla) Durant of Arizona City, Arizona; two grandchildren, Paige and Brandon Garvick; brothers, Gordon, Thomas, Louis, James and Joseph; sisters, Theresa, Julie and Karen; and step-mother, Mae Nagel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, JoAnne, Laurel and Jean.

Memorial services were Friday, November 9, 2012, at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish, South Dakota, with Pastor Scott McKirdy officiating. Burial followed at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
