Albert G. Perino

Albert G. Perino, 88, of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Crook County Long Term Care in Sundance.

Albert was born November 23, 1924, at the home ranch on Oil Creek to Felix and Mary Perino.  Albert spent his entire life ranching on Oil Creek.  On March 15, 1964, Albert married the love of his life, Lois Queen.  For the next 49 years Albert and Lois were inseparable, from repairing machinery, working cattle, haying, fencing, and anything else that required attention on the ranch. Albert and Lois love to go dancing at the local community halls.  They also enjoyed snowmobiling around their ranch and in the Black Hills area with their many friends.  Later the snowmobile was replaced by a four-wheeler.  When the work day was done, more often than not, you would see Lois and Albert out on their 4-wheeler checking their cattle and making sure there was plenty of salt and water and the fences were tight.  Albert loved his ranch and his cattle and it showed in how well they were maintained.  Albert’s soft spoken way, quick little wink, and smile will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Albert is survived by his wife, Lois of Sundance; brother and sister, Robert Perino and Mary Perino of Four Corners, Wyoming.  Albert was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Memorial Services for Albert were Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Newcastle United Methodist Church, with Pastor Paul Holland officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to benefit the Newcastle United Methodist Church.
