Three burglaries took place in the town of Hulett last week over the course of just two days. Among the targeted locations were the Corner Market, R Deli Restaurant and the Post Office.
The Corner Market and R Deli Restaurant were burglarized between closing time on Sunday April 15 and 6 a.m. the next morning. The perpetrator in each case was looking for cash and took an undisclosed amount, says Steve Couch, Hulett Chief of Police.
On Monday evening, someone tried to break into the Post Office, but entry was not gained in this instance.
There is a good possibility that all three burglaries were executed by the same person, Couch continues, but this is not yet known for certain. Hulett Police Department is currently processing the information that has so far come in and investigating some persons of interest.
Anyone possessing information about these crimes is encouraged to call the police department on (307) 467-5504.
